VP2Parking collects and processes data to operate visitor registrations, property management, payments, and towing operations. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can request changes or deletion.
Data we collect
We collect information you provide directly (license plate, vehicle details, unit numbers, user profile data) and data generated by your use of the platform (timestamps, property selections, registration history, payments, and audit logs). We also capture technical information like IP address and device type for security.
How we use data
Data is used to issue and validate visitor passes, enforce property-specific rules, notify property managers and towing staff of active or expired passes, process payments, and improve the product. We do not sell user data.
Retention
Registration and payment records are retained for auditing, fraud prevention, and compliance. Property managers may request shorter retention windows for visitor data when legally permissible.
Security
All traffic is encrypted. Authentication is handled by Clerk with role-based access applied in Convex. Access logs help us detect misuse. Payment data is processed by Stripe; we do not store raw card numbers.
Your choices
To update or delete information, contact your property manager or email support@vp2parking.com. Requests may be subject to property requirements or legal obligations.
Changes
We may update this policy as we add features. Continued use of VP2Parking after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
